We participate in the construction of the Dniester HPP and in the program of revitalization of small hydropower plants, shore fortification, filtration works, dams. PrJSC "Metrobud" carries out the construction of structures of a complex of underground water pipelines, a mine for hydraulic units, etc.
Dniester HPP Construction
The Dniester HPP is one of the largest hydro-accumulating power plants in Europe and the world. It is located on the right bank of the Dniester River in the Chernivtsi region. The Dniester HPP is one of the largest infrastructural energy facilities that we have implemented in Ukraine in recent years. The station works in the "pump-turbine" mode and can use the energy accumulated at night to produce electricity during peak loads on the grid.
With the launch of the fourth hydro unit, the capacity of the Dniester HPP reached 1,296 MW in generator mode and 1,684 MW in pumping mode.
